GUIDE TO BUYING PRESCRIPTION SUNGLASSES
Once you’ve found the perfect glasses, you can start the process to add some prescription lenses. You need to click on the ADD TO CART button.
In this step, you need to choose from the available manufacturers. They are the top 5 in the market.
If you’re not sure which one to choose, select any of them and at the end of the process leave us a comment with your questions. We’ll help you find the best option for you.
In this step, you need to choose between single-vision or progressive lenses.
Single-vision lenses, before 40 years of age, will help you see well from all distances.
After 40, they’ll only serve to see well at a distance. You’ll have to pick between a distance, intermediate or near prescription. This is something a specialist will be able to determine for you, according to your needs.
Progressive lenses, on the other hand, are used from the moment you start to develop presbyopia, also known as eyestrain. This usually happens after 40 years of age.
Progressive glasses can help you see well at all distances, with different prescriptions depending on the area of the glasses you look out from.
In this step, you need to add the prescription prescribed to you by the specialist.
If you have doubts about the prescription, we recommend reading our article explaining what each of the optical parameters mean.
You must fill in the parameters in line with your prescription. You also need to select your inter-pupillary distance (PD).
This measurement is in millimetres and must appear on the prescription issued by the specialist. It corresponds to the total distance between the pupils. In turn, it also indicates the distance between each pupil and the centre of the face.
This step is very important in determining the final lens thickness. One or another will be recommended depending on the prescription.
You’ll see that in each of the options we make a recommendation of which is best depending on the prescription.
In this step, you have the option to add treatments to the lenses. You can pick from various options:
Strengthening treatment. Makes the lens more durable and less prone to scratches.
Anti-reflective treatment. The anti-reflective treatment is added to the inner face of the lens.
Untreated
With prescription sunglasses, you can choose between photochromic and colour lenses.

Colour: You can choose the lens colour.
At this point, the order summary will appear. To finish the process, click on the Go to checkout button and follow the steps until payment is made.

GUIDE TO BUYING CONTACT LENSES
On our website, you’ll find contact lenses from the top manufacturers in the market. The process for buying contact lenses is simple. Here’s how to do it.
Search our catalogue until you find the lenses you need. You’ll find a wide variety depending on the duration – daily, fortnightly or monthly.
You can do this easily on the product page. You need to fill in and select your prescription values.
If you have a prescription without astigmatism, you only need to fill in the spherical power, radius and diameter.
Choose 1 or 2 boxes. It’s important to determine how many boxes you want.
SPHERICAL POWER: You need to add the spherical power prescription. It can be a + or - value. If that value is +, specialists often won’t include it in the prescription. Example: 2.00 instead of + 2.00
CYLINDER POWER: This is the astigmatism value and is usually reflected with a - sign (example -2.00). Sometimes, however, specialists will add a + sign (example +2.00). If this is the case, contact our customer service and we’ll help you find the right prescription.
AXIS: This value is measured in degrees and shows the position of the astigmatism, between 0º and 180º. Example: 50º
RADIUS: This parameter determines the curve of the contact lens. The type of lenses is often only manufactured with a single radius value. Examples: 8.7 and 8.8
DIAMETER: This value determines the diameter of the lens circumference. In many products, there is only one diameter per type of contact lens. Example: 14.50.
Finally, once you’ve filled everything out, you should click on the ADD TO CART button.
All you have to do is follow the steps until payment.
